Residential and Commercial Architect
in Colchester, Essex
Mark Perkins Partnership is a small yet well established Architectural Practice in Colchester which I started shortly after becoming a Chartered Architect in 1990. Over the years I have worked closely with individual clients and local developers creating exceptional homes of character and style.
I specialise in traditional Architecture but have also created many contemporary dwellings for my clients. I have worked on numerous commercial buildings including St Helena Hospice along with office conversions in environmentally sensitive areas. Working with Grade I and II Listed Buildings and within Conservation Areas has meant I have a wide variety of expertise dealing with out-of-the-ordinary properties.
My association with local consultants such as Arboriculturalist’s Topographical Surveyors, Code Assessors and Structural Engineers allows for a wide range of work to be undertaken.
Over the years I have won numerous design awards from Civic Societies and the Country and Land Association for sensitive conversions of former Listed Barn Conversions, most notably the Barn Brasserie at Great Tey in Essex.
I enjoy meeting new clients and assisting them with formulating design briefs, aiding them to envision their design objectives and helping obtain the permissions required to engage a contractor to complete the works.
If you are looking for a professional and well-respected Architect in Colchester or surrounding areas, I would love to hear from you.
